Things I Wish I had A Reason/ An Opportunity/The Cahones To Do
In no particular order:
  1. Have a day where I say out loud what I'm really thinking.
  2. Break someone's heart.
  3. Be pregnant, but not actually have to rear a child.
  4. Have short hair.
  5. Be friends with someone famous, i.e. in a posse. (Like those people who hang out at stars' houses when they are filming Cribs.)
  6. Punch someone for real.
  7. Stalk someone.
  8. Drink absinthe.
  9. Smash into an annoying driver on purpose.
  10. Wear one of those big heavy cloaks with the wide hoods, arrive looking mysterious, and slowly lower the hood, revealing my shining alabaster brow and a frightened yet brave and resolute expression.
  11. Be someone's true love. (Perhaps the handsome man who happens to be around when I lower my hood?—I really have to stop reading historical fiction, even if it is the well-researched kind.)
What about you guys? Top 3?

I'd like to say what I'm thinking too.

I'd like to wear whatever I want, whenever I want. Evening gown to the grocery store? So what. Combat fatigues to a fancy restaurant? Sure.

I'd like to be able to hop a plane and fly anywhere if I'm feeling like visiting that location. In the mood for Paris? I'm there. I haven't seen the Pacific coast since I was a child. I'll leave right now.

    My Top 3 Things:

    1) I wish I had a personal assistant to handle the trivial things in my life I have neither the energy nor the inclination to do unloading the dishwasher, getting the oil changed in my car (as opposed to getting the oil changed in my dishwasher, which is something I usually don't mind doing), yelling at the cats and peeling my grapes.

    2) Drive very slowly through a crowd of people. Preferably a redneck family reunion. Don't worry. I'd drive slow enough to allow people enough time to get out of my way. I just like the disruptive factor.

    3) Lip sync to The Door's "LA Woman" on a stage in front of 1400 people.

So this would be a different scenario than when you lip-synched to John Denver's "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" at your office Christmas Party last year?

Completely different. First of all, the song I lip synched to was "Take Me Home, Country Roads", not "Thank God I'm a Country Boy".and second of all, it was on the KVUE 6pm news alert, December 31, 1997 not the office Christmas party.
Way to stay involved in your brothers life Lori.
