| Stuff and Nonsense |
- I never get invited to parties, mainly (I think) because my friends don't throw them. I know I sure don't. But in the last 30 days I've been invited to 2 interesting parties. One is the kickoff of a presidential campaign and the other is celebrating the first birthday of a dog.
- Monday I start my first class in a five class series toward getting a "Certificate" in Technical Writing. It'll be interesting to see if I'm more or less committed to class and homework as an adult than I was as a college student.
- Yesterday I handed out the first issue of the second volume of the newsletter. It's my little baby at work, and this time through I not only did the layout but I chaired all the meetings and handed out assignments. I think it's our best issue ever.
  - What color is your bedroom painted and why? Or, if you rent like me, how have you found ways to overcome the boring white walls in your bedroom?
