They wanted me to use Word. Word and I battle it out over simple report formatting issues daily, and I knew that I would have pulled all my hair out before I had a newsletter.
So, I did what every self-respecting girl would do. I batted my eyelashes and talked an unnamed IT guy here into giving me MS Publisher. I went for Quark at first, but an $800 program for just me is pushing it, I suppose. I have to admit that Publisher was better than I thought it would be.

I've heard that things are trending toward InDesign, but I haven't used, or seen for that matter, that one yet.
Wait? Now, what are you saying? Let me get this straight... You don't always have to *buy* software? Do people obtain it by other means? I wouldn't know anything about that.
